Independent procurement coordination
Machine Vision System Sourcing
Machine Vision System Sourcing coordinates factory quotations for a dedicated machine vision system. We collect buyer inputs, circulate the same brief to candidate equipment makers, and return a comparison of stated inclusions. We do not operate cameras on a production floor, hold finished-system inventory, or act as a brand-appointed reseller. Suitability always requires a supplier response for the intended duty.
Coordinator responsibilities
Independent sourcing partner: we match industrial buyers with equipment makers, compare wholesale quotations and total procurement cost, and keep factory claims labeled as factory claims.
| Decision point | Evidence or question |
|---|---|
| Coordinator responsibilities: Design input | We ask the buyer for a defect library, whether the task is 2D contrast or 3D height, conveyor speed, PLC interface, quantity, destination and optional budget with currency. We do not invent a street address, telephone directory or social-account list because contacts are empty in site configuration. |
| Supplier answer | We forward the same written brief so each factory answers measurement method, lighting, trigger, reject path, FAT sample set and which lines are extras. We record deviations instead of rewriting one leaflet onto another bidder. Published sensor tables stay cited as manufacturer references. |
| Open deviation | If a reply omits commissioning, assumes buyer-owned fixtures or substitutes a 2D camera for a requested height map, we keep that gap on the comparison. We do not close the gap with a percentage saving or a plant we do not own. |
