machine vision system integrators

This page coordinates comparable factory quotations from machine vision system integrators inside a dedicated inspection-station boundary. We align quote assumptions, list included and excluded items, and ask which real-part surfaces and orientations will enter the detection trial. Integrator here means a candidate equipment maker or cell builder responding to your brief, not a claim that this website is a factory or a brand-appointed reseller.

Quotation alignment

Quotation alignment: Design input

Ask every integrator to price the same station drawing: trigger position, inspection point, reject mechanism and confirmation sensor, plus product travel between them. State the defect library, field of view, working distance and whether the task is 2D contrast or 3D height. Name quantity, US destination and the delivery window so freight is not silently omitted. If lighting, fixtures or image storage are buyer-owned, write that on the brief so bidders do not assume a complete cell.

Supplier answer

Each reply must split machine, tooling, controls, installation, training, spare parts and freight. For a 3D line-scan proposal, request measurement range, profile spacing and encoder relationship at the actual conveyor speed. For a 2D proposal, request exposure under the selected illumination, including ambient light and vibration. The supplier must name which real-part surfaces and orientations will be in the detection trial and who provides mounts. Published In-Sight or L38 tables are manufacturer references, not a sourcing-service performance promise.

Open deviation

Mark any bidder that prices a camera only while another prices a station with trigger and reject path. Treat a 2D pixel count as a different family from a 3D profile rate rather than as a cheaper substitute. If one factory excludes commissioning hours or assumes the buyer already owns the encoder, that assumption must stay visible. We circulate a comparison sheet; we do not promise a certification that covers the whole cell.
